Sting watched as the shadow dragon slayer changed the channel, why in the world was he watching the most horrible horror movie in history? What was wrong with him? Holding his hands by the back of his head, ” Surely outside must be more fun then that poor excuse of a movie ” but still the other refused, how nice. ” Well then don’t complain if you get bored again ” turning around but then glancing over his shoulder as the other said something about the vacation.
” Always looking from the negative side, try think positive for once ” he paused, ” But I agree with ya it does seem a bit of odd. ” then walking towards a drawer and opening it, ” But ” He held up a paper pointing towards a certain signature, ” This seems pretty real to me, can’t believe the master is actually paying for everything ” placing the paper back on the drawer again. ” What’s the worst thing that can happen? We’re on an island far away from Fiore ” then staying silent for a while realizing how many things can go wrong, but he didn’t want to think about those things. ” Second thought scrap that ”
Before they knew it all the lights suddenly went off, the power must have went out, just as the movie was about to become less boring. What a disappointment.
” Do you think….? ”
Sting mumbled as he looked at his partner, then standing up walking towards the curtains and opening them a little ” ….. ” then turning around, ” Oh shit…. ” with that said he quickly rushed out the room, he could hear the other following him. When they arrived his right eye started to twitch slightly, ” I should…have known ”
Basically everyone was lying on the ground, including Orga and Yukino, where was Rufus though? Turning around he saw Rufus walking towards them, ” Oh my what has happened here? ” the poet asked while raising an invisble brow. At those words Sting turned around again, noticing the bottle Orga was holding. ” …Rufus ” Sting said as he knelt down, not turning around. ” … ” yep Sting certainly wasn’t happy about this, and he was sure the other wouldn’t be either. ” I told you didn’t I? I asked you to keep Orga away from that bottle! ” Rufus shaking his hands before holding then behind his back again. ” You misunderstand, I did but I had to leave for a short while, so I asked Yukino but I guess…..that went wrong ”
Sting mentally facepalmed, then turning around as he heard a voice, ” What’s going on here!? ” seems like that was the owner of the hotel they were staying in….he didn’t look to happy about this, especially when he was walking towards their direction. ” Quickly do something, Rufus! ” Sting muttered in a low tone so only the poet and shadow dragon slayer could hear. ” Ah yes…right ” Holding his fingers by his head.
” Memory Make ”
The owner looked confused ” I hope you’re enjoying your stay! ” with that the owner left again, Sting picked up Yukino and Rufus and Rogue dragged Orga back inside. Placing them both in their rooms. Letting out a deep sigh Sting sat down on the couch again. ” What a great start…. ”
Rogue listened to Sting try to convince him to leave and stop watching this terrible movie, but Rogue really did feel like guild master or Minerva might be up to something. Rogue just sighed and he was about to agree and give in when all the lights went off. Rogue and Sting made a run to find Rufus, Yukino, and Orga, but when they found them two of the three were passed out drunk.
“Seriously?” Rogue growled. How much damage have they done while in that state? Rogue just grumbled as they all brought the two passed out drunks to their rooms. They both smelled of alcohol and he was sure the smell was rubbing off on him too. After the two were placed into bed, Rogue took his seat next to the other dragon slayer and shook his head. “Yeah, great start indeed,” Rogue muttered getting a little dizzy from the stench of alcohol. Usually it didn’t bother him much but this time the smell was extremely strong. “How much did they drink? It smells horrible in here,” but that might be due to his strengthened sense of smell.

The Prince, The Knight and The Smith (@Rogue & Orga)
“Please don’t ask why, but I want protection and you both seem so fit for the job,” the king pleaded with them. “I’ll double the reward of what I was originally paying you.” He added. Besides, if he did die, then that means they wouldn’t get any pay at all and that would mean that their whole time here would’ve been a complete waste. Rogue just let out a sigh and looked to Orga one again. They didn’t really have much of a choice did they?
“We will, but triple our pay,” Rogue bargained. It wouldn’t hurt to get extra for such a job. Besides, though Sabertooth was one of the strongest guilds, it didn’t have a lot of money to keep up maintenance and everything so he would be sure guild master would enjoy the extra money that they earned.
“Of course! I’ll get you all prepared for everything!” The King clapped his hands and the next thing Rogue knows is that he and Orga are being separated and fancy clothing is shoved into Rogue’s arms.
Seems like the other’s couldn’t reach him, great what was he supposed to do now? Sting felt the ring that was in his pocket, it was the ring that the second prince had showed him and had given to him. It amazed him how many things he had found out already but he needed to tell the others the news, but how they were so far away and this room was so crowded. ” So…. ” Sting decided to chat with the girl he was dancing with for a while, the prince did arrange a date for him after all. ” How exactly do you know him? ” Sting asked while raising a brow as they danced towards an other spot in the room. The girl looked up as Sting said that, ” He’s my fiance ” she said as she smiled softly, then looking down again. ” But nobody knows ” so it was a secret relationship, no wonder why the first prince nor the king recognized her. ” Ah, I see ”
Guess he had to wait till the ball was over before he could finish his mission, he wasn’t going to act before he told the others that the king was all behind the incidents that had happened.
Raising his eyebrows at Rogue’s request, Orga only shifted in his chair, still quiet. Indeed, their guild master would absolutely enjoy the extra money. Sharing a quick glance with Rogue, he nodded in approval, closing his eyes for a brief moment. So, they had to take good care of the king, right? Not a big trouble for the two Sabertooth members. Now…where was Sting?
Once the two of them got separated, some servants shoved Orga in a room, giving him an armful of clothes. “…Thank you.”, he murmured in his usual low tone, as he walked away, behind a paravane to change his clothes. Soon enough, he was done, dressed up in a black suit with a bow; ready to join the “party”. As a sigh left the smith’s lips, he slowly made his way towards the great hall, where the ball was being kept.
Orga just stood close to the king, his big stature being slightly intimidating; he wasn’t going to dance, anyway. Dancing wasn’t for him. Shifting his weight from one leg onto the other and rolling his eyes around the big room, he decided to go get something to drink. He wasn’t going to simply stay there without having at least a drink, was he?
Reaching the table with the big crystal bowl of punch, the Sabertooth filled his glass. He managed to make it to the table faster than expected- everyone was stepping out of his way. It’s not like I’m going to kick them or something… Orga thought to himself, as a deep sigh left his lips. I guess I should go back to watch the King…The smith made his way back to the King, who….was no longer there. Widening his eyes, Orga looked around, trying to catch a glimpse of the said king. Where on earth were Rogue and Sting at such a time!?
Rogue hated parties. There were plenty of reasons why. First of all, he just hated being in a crowd of people. Second, he wasn’t a party person, he liked to keep to himself. And third, plenty of people tend to avoid him but there are occaisons… where people, most of the time women, like to cling to his arm and get him to dance. Rogue wasn’t a dancer — that is was Rufus would do, but Rogue is not a people person.
“Please just one dance~” a woman cooed. Rogue just brushed her off and looked over to the king who was enjoying his party and Orga who was making his way to the punch bowl. The women started dragging Rogue away and into the back halls. He had a bad feeling about this but didn’t let his guard down for one minute. “Let me go,” he grumbled and made them stop dragging him once they were all in privacy, but he saw something off with the women… “Transformation magic,” Rogue quickly jumped back to avoid multiple attacks where he was previously standing. They’re trying to distract him away from the king. He had to hope Orga was keeping an eye on the king because he was a little busy.
Suddenly, one of the women turned into Sting and another turned into Rufus. Rogue gave a curious glance to the two. That couldn’t really be Sting and Rufus. It was just another transformation trick so Rogue didn’t falter in his attacks. He swiftly appeared in front of the two and did a leg swoop under them causing them to fall. He had to quickly get rid of these women before something happened to the king.

“Yes,” he grumbled, “my name is Rogue.” He didn’t know what else to say to the cat. They could talk about Gajeel? That wouldn’t be creepy at all. Well, let’s start with it’s name first, “and what’s your name?”
So he was right, that’s Rogue, the Shadow Dragon Slayer, if not mistaken. “Ah yes, my name is Pantherlily.” He rolled his eyes, wondering if should comment on Lily, your nickname. But found no reason to say this with a unknown.
Rogue just gave the cat a blank stare as Pantherlily rolled his eyes. Then his eyes slanted into a tiny glare. Yeah, he could see Gajeel and the exceed getting along well. “Pantherlily… huh,” well he didn’t know how to comment on that. The panther part seemed quite threatening unlike the lily part

“So you’re Gajeel’s exceed…?” He stared down at the small black cat. He saw a scar on it’s forehead so it must have been in plenty of battles meaning it was strong.
“Yes, I am…” So that is one of the Dragon Slayers of Sabertooth… Didn’t know much about him, just that seemed strangely dark and silent. “Her name is Rogue, right?”
“Yes,” he grumbled, “my name is Rogue.” He didn’t know what else to say to the cat. They could talk about Gajeel? That wouldn’t be creepy at all. Well, let’s start with it’s name first, “and what’s your name?”

Strange Occurances (@theshadowdragonslayer)
Natsu swallowed his noodles and grinned. “Yup, Igneel was my parent” He said, before stuffing his face once again.
He looked up at Rogue, raising an eyebrow when he asked the question. He almost choked, but swallowed hard, coughing afterwards. “Igneel? He was an awesome dad, he’s really strong, he has a bit of an ego, but I didn’t really care” he shrugged, hell, he didn’t even realise it had rubbed off on him. “He was really intelligent on humans aswell, though he always said he’d rather not interfere with them, something about extinction” He yawned, arching his back. “And as you know already, he disappeared seve-” he cut himself off, having to correct himself because of his time in the fairy sphere. “fourteen years ago, without a warning” He stared down at his plate, he always felt as if something stabbed him in the chest when he remembered that day.
Great. Now they were both depressed thinking about their dragon parents. Rogue just sighed and shook his head. During that moment of silence, a waitress comes up and places two fortune cookies. When the two didn’t touch or even look at their fortune cookies, the woman put it in their hands and made a motion for them to open their cookies and eat it.
Rogue just shook his head and did it just so the lady would leave them alone. He opened up his fortune cookie and ate it first then read the fortune:
Shadows swirl and Fires burn. You will experience something new and have a strange journey with a new friend.
He looked up to Natsu. Was Natsu someone he could consider as a ‘friend’? He did stand up for Yukino even though she wasn’t his nakama. He did something that he wanted to do. Natsu knew what a true guild was like…was Sabertooth a guild? Suddenly, Rogue started to feel light headed…it was that same kind of sickening feeling whenever he got on transportation… and everything started to get taller and bigger in his eyes. What was going on? What was in that fortune cookie?

She nodded and spread her wings, narrowing her eyes. “Anybody that hurts frog is an enemy” She hissed, she really did love frogs, and seeing them so distraught broke her heart. “Max Speed Attack” She hissed, before gliding at full speed at the eagle man, knocking him over, a few cuts appearing on his skin. He wasn’t knocked out, but it would surely give Rogue enough time to finish him off.
She did the same to the tiger woman, but she managed to evade the attack, clawing at the exceed, and successfully hitting Frosch, sending her across the room and into the wall. Frosch gasped as she hit the wall, as she felt the air rush out of her lungs from the impact. She fell to the floor and held the cut on her side, the tiger woman got a clean cut with her claw.
Rogue quickly took advantage of the distraction Frosch gave and sliced the eagle man and the crocodile man down with one precise and powerful slash. The two fell down easily and blacked out. As he rushed towards the tiger woman Frosch was sent back and Rogue’s eyes widened and looked back to the exceed. “Frosch!”
He backed down as he saw that the tiger woman was on full guard and even if he charged at her then, that would be foolish and he would’ve ended up more hurt than Frosch. He went to the green exceed to see if she was okay. He kneeled down next to her and questioned, “are you okay?” but his eyes didn’t leave the tiger woman’s form. It would be dangerous to let his guard down. He glared at the woman for harming his best friend.
“You know you’re going to regret bringing any harm to her.”
Frosch grit her teeth and nodded. “Frosch is fine, just a cut” She said, before slowly standing up, still holding the torn flesh, of course it had ripped open her suit and it was now stained with her own blood, but luckily she had a few spares at the lodging.
She tried to spread her wings, but the cut felt as if it was draining the magic energy out of her. “Frosch can’t fight, sorry Rogue-kun” She shook her head, admitting her defeat, she knew the shadow dragon slayer would easily take care of the woman either way, he was after all, one of the strongest mages in Sabertooth, and Fiore at that.
He flashed her a gentle smile as if telling her it would be all right. He didn’t want Frosch hurt anymore so at least she was smart to know that she couldn’t fight right now. Rogue’s smile then disappeared and he held more seriousness in his eyes. “Frosch, get somewhere safe,” he suggested to his partner exceed. The tiger woman’s eyes formed into slits as she eyed the small exceed, but Rogue knew better than to give her an opening and stood in between the two.
“You can stop doing the cruel things to these animals, and then I don’t have to waste my time with you,” Rogue muttered to her, but she just laughed. “Yeah, and then we can have a lovely tea party in the backyard and become best friends,” she laughed sarcastically. “Because of these expiraments, this aquarium has been getting known all around the world! I get more cash and more fame! Why would I stop?!” Rogue just let out a sad sigh. He warned her, and from that point on her fate was sealed.
“People like you really are…” he swiftly moved in closer to her and dug his elbow into her stomach and then brought it up to her chin in the blink of an eye. He brought back his hand and pulled out his katana, moved forward and slashed her front diagonally. He put his katana back in its spot as she fell forward and a pool of blood formed under her. “Hopeless.” He looked over to Frosch, “are you okay?”

Her laughter must’ve thrown off the male a bit by the look of his face. Neliel hoped he didn’t take it as her offending him. The female Arrancar had the tendency to laugh in the most strangest moments— except for when she’s being serious, angry, frustrated, or along those lines. The reason for her laughter this time— to put it simple was because it was the first time hearing someone say that. After being so engrossed in her thoughts, she barely noticed the male was sizing her up. Perhaps checking out to see if the green haired female was strong.
“Is that right, a week. Hmmm. Day two finished already? Well, I’ll be looking forward to the third day— this event caught my interest.” Noticing the odd looks they were receiving from the people that were walking around them, Neliel realized that they were in the way by just standing there— talking. A small sigh escaped from her lips, she glanced over at Rogue. Following him to a spot to sit down, Neliel took a seat next to the raven-haired male. “Seems like it, 5 more days…Anyway, are the events already set-up? Or do they wait till that certain day to inform everyone of the event being held on that specific day?” She was very curious, she wondered is she was annoying him. Neliel was asking a lot of questions— naturally, people would get a bit frustrated, annoyed even.
He was still confused by her story that she was from another ‘world’ or whatever, but the way she questioned everything would make it seem believable that she definitely wasn’t from around here. As they sat down and talked, he couldn’t help but notice the mask upon her head, the way she was dressed, really was out of this world, but she seemed just like a normal female when she talked. Something about the mask on her head seemed different though, but he snapped out of it when she asked him more questions.
“Everyone from around the kingdom comes to watch the games. It’s only natural that people are interested,” he spoke calmly and looked up to the bright blue sky. Today, even after all the events that have happened, seemed like a normal, calm day. ”Each events are told to us on the day they are held. We do not know prior to each event,” he explained to her. He didn’t mind explaining. It honestly cured him of his boredom. He would rather be here than back where the guild master was… throwing his tantrum. ”It makes it more challenging for us, I guess. Then after the events, it turns into a battle arena and we learn who we fight then.”

Lets talk about Gajeel (theshadowdragonslayer)
Perhaps she went out of line there. Her feelings just went out of control when Rogue had talked negatively about Team A since Gray is in that team. Juvia tried to regain her composure, “Ahem, well it is true about what you said though, that our team has more powerful members. After all we have three of our S-class mages: Mirajane, Laxus, and Mystogan. Then there’s Gajeel-kun and Juvia, we’re a force to be reckoned with.”
“However your first member with that mask left quite an impression during the first match.” Juvia remembers clearly how those large beams came raining down on the field from the skies and being struck by them. It was so powerful that even now it still makes her hands shake. “Juvia may have lost the first games but I know the rest of my teammates will pull through on their turns, especially Gajeel-kun.”
He listened to her words carefully as she calmed herself down. So the members of Fairy Tail Team B were all S-Ranked mages and he could also assume Gajeel and Juvia were both strong enough to be considered S-ranked or close enough to be as strong as S-ranked mages. Rogue didn’t know how Fairy Tail judged their strength but he couldn’t assume that any of them were weak. He said it himself, they made it past the prelims so they could all hold their own.
“You’re talking about Rufus,” he thought back to the very first match again. They played hide and seek and Rufus didn’t hide at all and just went for the offence. He started to see her shake a little, and it was only natural the way Rufus did present himself. His ears perked when he heard Gajeel’s name once again. “What do you mean by… especially Gajeel?” Rogue was curious now and he tried to hide his curiousity.
